Hidden Gem Of Goa

My fingers were about to grab that beautiful colored small stone located at the bottom of shore and suddenly I slipped into the lake. All the water got into my mouth, nose, ears as well. After a small struggle, I got out of the water. Here I mention "struggle" word which means I am not aware of how to swim. I realized the feeling of drowning into the sea and this lake is very different. “Oh, water is sweet here ” my mind shouted. A Cool breeze made me shiver like a hell and we were laughing with a lot of excitement.

We were at the sweet water lake also known as Paliem sweet water. It is one of the hidden gems where very few people know about this place and you will hardly see any Indian crowd there. Clean and freshwater with beautiful ambiance surrounded by a lot of greenery and small hills, very peaceful and not so crowded. On the lakeside, there are a lot of coconut trees and shacks to chill out and enjoy this beautiful ambiance.

We, I and my brothers then took out our clothes. I grabbed my go-pro with me to capture all the moments and jumped into the lake. That feeling was like a “heaven on the Earth”. If you want to relax, enjoy the cool breeze, greenery and take a dip in cold water.

You have to walk nearly 1 km from the main Arambol beach which includes a narrow lane between beach side shops/stalls and guesthouses to reach sweet water lake. During this walk, one attractive place grabbed our attention, View of nice colorful huge cliff and sea on the back. That was an amazing feeling, We feel like lucky guys to choose this place for roaming rather than partying at some cafe. We started to sing (Of-course we are bathroom singers) and tried to climb on that cliff. The view was amazing.

You  must visit this place the next time you visit Goa and collect some awesome memories with you.
